The club was founded by two British expatriates, namely Herbert Kilpin and Alfred
Edwards as Cricket and Football Club Milan in 16 Desember1899. At the time, Edwards
became the first club president Milan and Kilpin became the first captain Milan.
Spring 1901, Milan won his first title as a champion of Italian football, after
beating Genoa CFC 3-0 in the final of the Italian Football Championship. In
1908, part of the Italian players and the players in the squad SwissInggris core
of Milan at the time, broke away from Milan and Internazionale form.
